Science Rising is a nationwide mobilization effort taking place throughout 2018 in the run-up to the midterm elections. It is not a one-day march—it is a series of local activities, events, and actions organized by many different groups.
Our shared goal is to ensure that science is front-and-center in the decision-making processes that affect us all—and to fight back against efforts that sideline science from its crucial role in our democracy.
2018 March for Science SIGNS Summit: Science | Government, Institutions & Society
July 6 - July 8
The inaugural S|GNS Summit invites established and emerging leaders from across the scientific, advocacy, and education communities for a weekend of practical skill-building, idea-sharing, and community networking.
The future of science advocacy depends on coordinated action and diverse perspectives, yet few spaces exist for interdisciplinary collaboration and dialogue.
With five tracks and over a dozen activities to choose from, you can tailor the program to both align with your goals and expand your perspective. Through interactive workshops, panel discussions, and networking events, S|GNS Summit will provide practical skills and promote interdisciplinary collaboration across public, political, and scholarly spheres.
